“British Columbia: An Untold History” – Special Screening and Panel Dialogue for Truth and Reconciliation

In observance of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Chinese Canadian Museum will be co-hosting a community screening and premiere of “British Columbia: An Untold History” with the Laurier Institution, Pacific Canada Heritage Centre – Museum of Migration, Chinese Canadian Historical Society of BC, Simon Fraser University Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, and Knowledge Network.

The featured episode, “Change + Resistance”, highlights the perseverance of Indigenous peoples through years of oppression and criminalization in BC. Let this part of Canadian history be understood and remembered.

Screening and panel dialogue took place on October 6, 2021 at 6 pm at SFU Harbour Centre in Downtown Vancouver on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
