Chinese Canadian Museum Board Chair Grace Wong Wins National Philanthropy Day's Giving Hearts Award 2024

Congratulations to Grace Wong, our Board Chair, for receiving the National Philanthropy Day's Giving Hearts Award 2024 for Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser! Your dedication and commitment to the museum is truly inspirational, and together, we celebrate this remarkable recognition.

The Giving Hearts Award is given in celebration of National Philanthropy Day, and was established to honour genuine philanthropic efforts in the community. Philanthropy shapes a community's character, and the AFP Greater Vancouver Chapter acknowledges numerous individuals, families, and groups who contribute exceptional time, leadership, and financial resources to various organizations.

"We were very fortunate to have the support of our community, the Province, and other levels of government, our incredibly dedicated board and staff, and of course our donors. There is much more to do ahead of us – new exhibitions, a current renovation to create more exhibition and education space, but we look forward to continued support of our community.
