Dragon Boat Festival at the Museum
Saturday, May 31, 11 A.M. - 3 P.M.

The Dragon Boat Festival (端午節) is a traditional Chinese celebration held on the 5th day of the 5th month of the lunar calendar.
Falling on May 31 this year, this holiday is commonly observed with dragon boat races and the enjoyment of zongzi (粽子) — glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves, filled with either sweet or savory ingredients.
Join us at the museum for a day of family fun to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival! Create your own felt zongzi pin in our drop-in craft activity and sample the deliciously sticky tastes of various types of zongzi, while supplies last!
