Golden Ticket Campaign 2024

From January 24 to February 11, every visitor (with paid admission) to the museum will receive a fortune cookie! Visitors who find a GOLDEN TICKET inside their cookie will be eligible to win amazing Lunar New Year prizes, from contest partners below.

Chinese Canadian Museum Golden Ticket Contest Rules

*CONTEST PERIOD*

The Chinese Canadian Museum’s Lunar New Year Golden Ticket Campaign ("Contest") begins on January 24, 2024 and concludes on February 11, 2024, ("Contest Period").

*ELIGIBILITY*

The Contest is open to all museum visitors (Vancouver location) who pay standard admission or use their annual pass during their visit. All museum staff, board members, contractors, and their immediate family members are ineligible to win.

*HOW TO PARTICIPATE*

• Each visitor must pay standard admission or use their annual pass during their visit to receive one fortune cookie. A complimentary ticket is eligible as well.

• Inside the fortune cookie, they will find a message.

• Ten fortune cookies contain a golden ticket.

• Visitors who receive a golden ticket must keep the ticket and email the address provided along with a photo of their ticket. Winners must email the museum prior to February 15, 2024, in order to enter into the prize draw. 

*CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD*

The contest runs from January 24, 2024 to February 11, 2024. Only winning tickets received during this period and notified to the museum prior February 15, 2024 will be considered.

*DRAW AND PRIZES*

After the contest end date, all winners who have emailed Chinese Canadian Museum at info@chinesecanadianmuseum.ca will be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of ten Lunar New Year prizes. The draw will determine which prize the winner will receive. 

*WINNER NOTIFICATION AND CLAIM*

Once the draw has been finalized, winners will be notified via email and must claim their prize by the February 29, 2024.

• To claim prize, winners must respond to the notification email and follow the instructions provided.

• Failure to claim the prize within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification.

*PRIZE DETAILS*

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Chinese Canadian Museum reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

*GENERAL RULES*

By participating in the Contest, participants agree to abide by these rules and all applicable laws.

• All museum staff, board members, contractors, and their immediate family members are ineligible to win.

• The Chinese Canadian Museum reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time.

• Decisions of and by the Chinese Canadian Museum are final.

By entering the Chinese Canadian Museum's Lunar New Year Golden Ticket Campaign, participants fully and unconditionally accept these contest rules.
