Conversations with a Conservator: Caring for Your Family’s Paper Trail | Vancouver
Join us for an enriching, hands-on workshop designed for those eager to preserve their family's history!
Led by professional museum conservator Tara Fraser, attendees will learn what causes deterioration in our collections and how to prevent it. In this workshop, participants will be provided with information on the proper materials and techniques needed for handling, preserving and storing family photographs, documents, heirlooms, and other precious items. In-person attendees will also have the opportunity to apply their learning through a hands-on activity and take home their own beginner conservation kit. Don't miss this opportunity to turn your personal memories into a well-preserved archive!
This event will be live streamed via Zoom for free virtual participation.
