Mourning the passing of former B.C. Premier John Horgan
It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of former B.C. Premier John Horgan, who was instrumental in the formation of the Chinese Canadian Museum. In 2017, then Premier Horgan made a commitment to establish the Chinese Canadian Museum and his leadership and support underpinned each stage in the formation of the museum.
He truly shared in the vision of creating a permanent museum to share the important stories that reflect the long history, culture, heritage and contributions of Chinese Canadians. We are forever grateful for his dedication and commitment to CCM, and to the Chinese Canadian Community. He will be greatly missed.
